My painting’s act as a personal journal of observations made during my travels, childhood, family and life experiences that have left long lasting impressions in my shadowy brain. These impressions are what drive me to create multiple series of work that reflect those experience’s and the time in which we/I live in. As an artist I feel that reflecting on our time is my duty and my hope is to immortalize it in my own sense of style and interest. My process comes from studying and admiring the great  artists of the past and trying to recreate their sense of volume, depth and emotion in my own swirl of line and color that allows me and hopefully the viewer to get lost in the work.
